Course Overview

Gleneagles Queens Course

While being the shortest of the three Gleneagles 18 hole courses, the Queen’s course should not be underestimated.  This par 68 gem threads its way through the high ridges to the north and west of the estate and hides its challenges behind some truly stunning scenery.  Most golf courses are set in spectacularly lovely surroundings.  But the natural wooded beauty of the Queen’s Course, with its lush views over rolling hills and great, wide skies, inspires even the most experienced of players.

Over the years, this course has attracted some of the golfing greats like Ballesteros, Norman and Watson (to say nothing of Connery, Crosby and Lancaster).   With holes like the featured Gushet Rig hole #3, which is named after the”gushing” sound of the water of the ditch to the right of the fairway, it’s easy to see why so many fall in love with this course.
