Brora Golf Club Overview

The golf course design is recognized as being one of James Braid’s finest pieces of work. The green staff work tirelessly to preserve the original design, whilst presenting a course that is regularly acclaimed for its quality. The perfect balance between challenge and fun, and in a breath-taking setting. The clubhouse provides a spectacular view of the golf course and surrounding links land, and the trained staff are on hand to make your visit to Brora Golf Club comfortable and enjoyable. Refreshments are available from the bar, food is available from the restaurant and the Professional Shop will take care of all your golfing needs.

No course in Scotland has so many holes playing so close to the sea. Enjoy the 9th hole par three called the Sea Hole where the North Sea is a rather large water hazard.  The late five time Open Champion Peter Thompson proclaimed Brora to be his favorite course in the world!

Black Sheep Review

Brora Golf Club is the furthest north north of all clubs on our tours.  Tour groups often overlook it due to its location.  Big Mistake!  This classic hidden gem exudes Scottish charm.  Cattle can often seen  grazing in the fairways. Wire fencing around each green ensures thats the only place the graze!  This is a perfect club to play while up in Dornoch playing Royal Dornoch either as a second round of a day or before heading back down south to Inverness as we do in our East Coast Extravaganza and Ultimate Highlands Tours.
