Cruden Bay Golf Club

Cruden Bay Golf Club is a championship links golf course located in Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is considered to be one of the best links courses in the world.  The course was originally designed by Old Tom Morris and opened in 1899. It was later redesigned by Tom Simpson and Herbert Fowler in 1926. 

Cruden Bay is a links course in the truest sense of the word.The course creates unique challenges demanding the skills of power, placement and fine judgment upon the discerning golfer. Set against a backdrop of subtly contoured greens and magnificent panoramic views, Cruden Bay is known for its undulating fairways, pot bunkers, and firm greens. It is also known for its challenging yet fair layout, and its stunning scenery.

Cruden Bay truly justifies its position as 54th BEST COURSE IN THE WORLD in the 2013 US publication Links Magazine. 70th IN THE WORLD in the 2013-14 Golf Digest Top 100, and the Golf World Magazine voted us in 2012 the 2nd Top Fun Course in Great Britain & Ireland.  In November 2015 Cruden Bay was presented with the Scottish Golf Tourism Award for the top Course in Scotland.
